The Story Behind Lumière Juliana

I have always been drawn to the beauty of a moment… the way light falls softly into a room, the comfort of familiar spaces, and the feeling of home in its quietest form.

My love of creating began long before Lumière Juliana. It was passed down to me, first from my grandmother, and then from my mother. Some of my earliest memories are of baking cookies and scrapbooking at the kitchen table, of painting ornaments and learning to sew. From those moments, creating became a part of my soul… something that has always felt as natural as breathing.

​

Over time, that love grew into something more. What began as a creative outlet became a deeper expression of how I see the world, one rooted in intention, beauty, and the quiet luxury of everyday living.

Lumière Juliana was born from that place.

​

Each candle is thoughtfully crafted as a reflection of the moments I cherish most… soft mornings, slow evenings, and the simple beauty found in living with intention.

​

Outside of creating, my life is centered around the people I love most. My five adult children and my family are everything to me, and I spend as much time with them as I can. I find joy in gathering, in planning beautiful moments, in cooking, baking, traveling, and getting lost in music.

​

And beside me through it all is Tom, the love of my life for the past seventeen years.

​

And of course… I am a proud cat lady. My three year old white cat, Luna, somehow inherited my blue eyes, something I am still not entirely convinced she earned.

​

Lumière Juliana is a reflection of this life… and my hope is that when you light one of my candles, it becomes part of your own, woven into your routines, your memories, and the moments you return to again and again.
