Entering a New Chapter

I’ve always been someone who creates.
Not just in the obvious ways, but in the quieter ones. In how I build a space, how I move through a day, how I bring a sense of calm to what might otherwise feel overwhelming. It’s something I’ve understood more clearly over time, and even more so in this chapter of life.
This past chapter has held its share of difficult moments. The kind that ask you to pause for a while, to sit with things, to really think about how you want to move forward. And instead of letting it break me, I found myself gently redirecting that energy into something creative, something thoughtful, something beautiful.
When life feels uncertain, I don’t shut down. I soften. I refine. I begin again in ways that feel more aligned, more intentional, more like myself.
And maybe most importantly, I’ve learned that I don’t need to change who I am to fit into what the world expects. There is strength in being grounded, in being thoughtful, in leading with warmth.

Lately, that’s looked like something simple. Reshaping my environment, surrounding myself with things that feel calm and personal. Letting the light in a little more, especially in the mornings with my coffee by the window. Slowing things down. Creating space to think.
But it’s never really just about the space.
It’s about the feeling it holds. A quiet steadiness. A place to think clearly. A place to move forward from, gently.
And somewhere in that stillness, Lumière Juliana began to take shape again. Not just as a brand, but as a reflection of that same intention. What it is now feels more aligned. More thoughtful. More me. Not rushed, not forced, just built with care.
I’ve realized that this is how I approach everything. Quietly bringing structure, warmth, and intention into whatever I’m part of. This rebrand wasn’t just about candles. It was about clarity.
And in this chapter of life, there’s a different kind of perspective. One shaped by experience, by growth, and by learning to trust your instincts in a deeper way. My children are grown now. New chapters are unfolding. There is still so much ahead.
I’m letting myself explore it all. Continuing to grow my career, build my business, and return to the things that bring me joy. Creating candles, finding my direction, decorating my home, trying new recipes, focusing on my health, and even stepping back into things that once felt familiar, like selling Avon again.
Because life doesn’t have to be one path.
There is space to create something layered, meaningful, and entirely your own.
And for the first time in a long time, I feel genuinely at peace being fully myself… and excited about what my life could become.
Life has a quiet way of surprising you like that.
I’m curious how others move through times like this.
What does “reset” look like for you? I would love to hear from you!
And if you feel called to it, I’d love for you to follow along. I’ll be sharing pieces of this journey as it unfolds.
Live Beautifully ~
